Information for New Gymnasts and Parents

Welcome to Earls Gymnastics... and thank you for booking your child into a Gymnastics class.

At Earls Gymnastics, we believe that all children should enjoy a fun exciting experience in the sport of gymnastics.

Please take the time to read the following information as it should enable you to get the most out of your time at Earls Gymnastics.

Please ensure you also read our hand book for further information on our policy and procedures.

What to Wear for A Training Session?
To ensure gymnasts are dressed suitably for training sessions and to meet health and safety requirements we ask that the following dress code be observed by all gymnasts: Girls - A leotard or shorts and a t-shirt Boys shorts and a t-shirt No trainers, shoes, jeans, skirts, casual trousers or hooded tops will be allowed Long hair must be tide back and kept out of the face No jewellery of any description is to be worn including ear rings, body piercings, watches, rings, necklaces and nail extensions If you have a verruca please cover it with a plaster.

How to Be Ready for A Training Session
To be ready for a session: Please make sure your child arrives before the session is due to start dressed in appropriate clothing Please ensure your child goes to the toilet BEFORE the session begins Please note that no eating, drinking or chewing is allowed during the session with the exception of water or a non-fizzy drink. This drink can be consumed during the session with the coach's permission. Make sure all valuables are left at home or put in a safe place.

What to Do During a Session (For Parents)
Parents are permitted to sit in and watch sessions, why not use this time to have a coffee and relax?

What If You Are Unable to Attend a Pre-Booked Session?
In the event that your child is unable to attend a session please let us know as soon as possible by calling or emailing Earls Gymnastics.

What to Do When You Arrive
Please park on the designated rear car park and follow signs to enter the facility through the Main Entrance. For safety reasons please ensure you follow the signs and not walk where they may be a danger to pedestrians.

What to Do During a Session?
Please wait for your child in the designated parent waiting area. You may also want to enjoy a coffee or a snack. You are also welcome to leave the premises and return to collect your child provided you return no later than 5 minutes before the end of the session.

What to Do When You Arrive
The Main car park is for coach's officials and disabled. Please park on the designated car park in the middle of the school. The entrance to the car park is the second turning on the right if you have entered the road from the island. if you are entered going down the hill it's the first turning on your left past the gymnastics centre coach and official car park. Please then take care and walk up the hill to enter the facility through the Main Entrance. For safety reasons please ensure children are supervised when walking up the hill and into the car park where our main entrance is located.

What to Do During a Session?
Please wait for your child in the designated parent waiting area. You are also welcome to leave the premises and return to collect your child provided you return no later than 5 minutes before the end of the session.
